So as you may know my daughter moved to Holland in November. Now her room has been the same since she left :)
Today i wanted to do a weight routine. Now to give you some background info i live in a very small townhouse which does not have a lot of room!! So usually doing a dvd is done in the livingroom, doing weights is done in the kitchen with all my weights etc kept either under the kitchen table or under the computer desk :)
Today i said enough is enough!! I got all my gear, my mat, my weight gloves, my 3 sets of weights, water bottle and marched up to her room. I put her bed against the wall and cleared the floor!! I now have a mat permanently on the floor, i have weights just waiting for me, i have a tv and dvd to do my video workouts on and the thing that tickled me pink, a mirror to watch my form while lifting weights!! Oh and i put a new stereo that can play my mp3 music on in there as well :)
Well let me tell you i rocked those weights today :) None of those light weights for this kid i tell ya!! O.k i'll be sore tomorrow but i won't regret it.
I did:
shoulder presses
shoulder shrugs
bicep curls
hammer curls
tricep extenstions
crunches
planks
jumping jacks
and a couple of burpees :)

Yep! Just got back from they gym! 45min walk at 3.0 with an incline the whole time! : )

And yep, sure did my morning routine on the elliptical today! Challenge myself to up it one level too. Instead of level 10, went to level 11!
Nope, I haven't moved much today... But your workout is pretty inspirational. I think I should start working out at home too.
And don't worry about that small gain. I'm sure with the planning you spoke of, you'll have that off in no time.
Awesome. Always happy to see women who kick butt on the weights and are not afraid of them. You're a champ for doing Burpees. I think they may very well be my nemesis.
Way to go Suzi!! You have a mini gym! It's so nice to have a place you can just keep it all set up and all together! It looks like it inspired you to kick some @$$! I did groove to a 5-mile Walk away the Pounds DVD (about 66 minutes) and want to get in 25 minutes on the elliptical after my din din settles! :o) YOU ROCK!
That is awesome! having a designated space for working out would be inspirational, for sure!
And no, I did not move today....drove from hubby's work place to Son/DIL's home to help with baby and little girls since DIL was sick today...then home to catch up on my email.
My treadmill is going back into place tonight, though, so I can start walking tomorrow morning.
lol I just got a swiss ball so I can do the new sparkpeople bootcamp challenges (And vary my work outs).
I've really started using the wii fit too!
Now we just need to eat healthier ;)

I'm about to go change and move. Today is pilates yoga and sculpting. I recently upped my weights, but am still girly about it. I have bad wrists and hands though, so I have to be careful.
Good for you! I haven't moved today, yet. Unless you count running my fingers accross this keyboard. I'm off in a couple of hours and then a nice long walk this afternoon.
Good for you! I have moved today at 7am I did an upper body workout at home, like you....no space! Then at 8am I went to the gym and did 40 minutes of cardio! Yay us!!! :)
