I am so looking forward to the nicer weather! Hope i didn't just jinx it.
So today i'm back to my basics. Things that i know work for me.
1. Back to eating a little from each food group.
2. Back out on my walks which gives me time to works things out in peace and quiet :)
3. Drinking my 8 cups of water.
4. Treating myself with respect and enjoying life.
I read an article yesterday (sorry can't remember where) about lifetime dieters. I honestly feel i'm probably one of them which actually makes me sad. I would love to be able to get to where i can just eat mindfully without the having to count every calorie and every carb. Things to think about!

Hope you have a wonderful walk! I am looking forward to spring and being able to get out and enjoy some walks. Here it is still cold and snowy and the sidewalks are icy which makes walking dangerous!

I think I am a lifetime dieter too and I am so sure how I feel about it.
I refuse to be a lifetime dieter!!!! Maybe after I hit goal, I'll just become a lifetime walker ;) since it's so good for us!
I am hoping to become a healthy eater who loves to exercise!!!

After a while it gets to be pretty natural to keep a running "approximation" of what you're eating without dwelling on it. Or at least that's my experience *most* of the time.
I have found that my bike rides tend to be 'me' time. So I can totally identify with your walks being time to work things out in peace and quiet. I can Amen that!
I think I'm a lifetime dieter too. It would be so easy for me to revert back.
