Question Day Again!!

And yep i'm still sick! However i've decided to stop having a self pity party and get back to being normal :)
I've come to the conclusion that eating a lot of junk when sick does not make you feel better, in fact it makes you feel worse.
Not getting out for my walks does not give me more energy.
So it's time to get back to doing what i know works for me :) Sorry i've taken a long break but maybe i needed it.

So onto question day:

1. How do you get your mojo/motivation back when it's sadly lacking??

2. How many times a day do you eat?

3. What temperature is it today where you live?

4.What exercise equipment do you own? Is there anything you'd like to have but don't?

5. Are you planning on eating any Halloween candy? Or staying well away from it?

  2. 1. I get my mojo back by reminding myself how bad I felt when I was 300 pounds. That does it every time!


    2. I honestly eat 6 times a day.

    3. The temp right now is 48!

    4.Just my shoes and some dumbells. I'd like a Pilates machine.

    5. I will definitely have a snickers bar - or two!

  3. Love question one; I think I usually just take a break and do some serious thinking. Maybe do some pilates and relax fr a bit.

    I eat about 6 times a day (3 meals, 3 snacks!)

    It's about 49 degrees, yikes.

    I want an elliptical! I only own an exercise band, our apartment is too small for anything else!

    Oh yes, I will eat some candy, for sure! Snickers and Reese's peanut buter cups please :)

    3. Not sure right now..but when I left the house at 8AM it was 53 degrees.


    4.I have a recumbent exercise bike....stair steppers....hand weights....ankle weights....stability ball... and about a gazillion dvds. I would love to have room and money to set up my own gym and avoid the drive to town to exercise! (driving to and from kills an extra 40 minutes....at best)


    5. Thank goodness candy is not a vice. It's about the only thing I don't really crave!

  5. First of all, hope you get to feeling better soon.
    1. This is a toughy. I just keep plugging along. I wish I had a magic pill to perk me up and get me going.

    4. Elliptical, treadmill, recumbent bike, 2 physio balls, and various barbells and resistance bands.
    5. Stay away!!! We give out tons, but when it's all over, we give the leftovers to the grandkids.

  6. 1) If I had the magic fix for modivation I would be a millionare! I guess you simply have to wnt to be more healthy than eating more than you need too or being sedentary. (Simple in theory... difficult in practice!)

    2) I try to do 4-6 small meals of about 300 calories.

    3) It feels about 80... but I'm sick with a cold.

    4) I have exersize bands somewhere. I just got a bicycle.

    5) I may eat some candy (I do now) but I plan to keep it in moderation.

    Thanks for the being sick doesn't mean binging modivation. I can't say I'm up to working out but I'm going to try not to eat all the food in the house.

    1. How do you get your mojo/motivation back when it's sadly lacking?? I look at my life list.

    2. How many times a day do you eat?
    About two days a week I eat exactly three times a day. The other days it's more like five times a day.
    3. What temperature is it today where you live? It's a balmy 45 :)

    4.What exercise equipment do you own? Is there anything you'd like to have but don't? Walking shoes, running shoes...that's it. I would love a pilates machine with a trainer!

    5. Are you planning on eating any Halloween candy? Or staying well away from it? That would be a definite no-because I can't stop at one, and in fact had planned to blog today about it being my arch-nemesis of October.

  10. I hope you get better soon. It is so tough to stay on track when I am sick.



    1. I get my mojo back by getting back to basics(logging food) and looking at my own before and after pics.
    2. I try to eat 5 times a day.

    4.I own an exercise ball and some therapy bands. The club house at my condo has a pool and treadmill. I would love to own some weight lifting equipment.

    5. Candy is like crack for me. Once I eat it I have a tough time stopping. I won't go near it.

    3. What temperature is it today where you live? 63F here in Maryland


    4.What exercise equipment do you own? Is there anything you'd like to have but don't? no large equipment, do have hand weights, lots of DVD's, thermabands


    5. Are you planning on eating any Halloween candy? Or staying well away from it? There's an endless bowl of candy here at the office so it's like Halloween everyday. I have a rule that I can only have one candy a week, it works for me.

  12. I know I'm a little late on this but I was out of town.
    1. How do you get your mojo/motivation back when it's sadly lacking?? I just don't give up. That is the reason I have never achieved any of my goals in my life, so now I just never give up.

    2. How many times a day do you eat?
    around 5 times
    3. What temperature is it today where you live? 55 degrees

    4.What exercise equipment do you own? Is there anything you'd like to have but don't? I own none. I've often thought it would be neat to have a set of weights so I could weight train at home. No gym around here! Oh and I would love a pool.

    5. Are you planning on eating any Halloween candy? Or staying well away from it? Halloween isn't my downfall, Easter is with those Cadbury mini eggs, but I find it easier to just not eat it. If I have even one I will want more. Now watch all my strength go down the tube if one of the kids has a Bit 'O Honey in their bag!

    4.What exercise equipment do you own? Is there anything you'd like to have but don't? treadmill, smith machine, bench, pull up tower with thing for abs, I would love to own a leg sled
