jumping back on the healthy eating wagon! I was wrong, when i was sick i was eating whatever i felt like eating. No more! I am slowly turning things around but boy oh boy it would have been so much easier just to stay eating the way i was than to eat a pile of junk and then try to stop.
And not just eating but exercise has been the same way.
So for now i'm working on the eating then i'll focus on the exercise :) Sometimes i want to pull my hair out and stamp my feet with the choices i make!
Oh well at least the cold is almost gone. Have a great weekend guys.

Preaching to the choir.... I just keep thinking one day it is just going to be easy.... but it isn't. I read a piece in the Beck Diet where she asked a group of thin people, if all foods had the same caloric value, would they eat differently? They all said yes! It drives home the point that really, at the end of the day, no one WANTS to eat a healthy diet, low in calories and fat.... we all want OREOS and Doritos and KFC..... just some people want to be fit more! It was profound to me. Everyone struggles. Hope things get easier for you each and every day.... as always, love your pics!!!
I SOOOO know what you mean about sometimes wanting to pull my hair out and stamp my feet about the choices I make too.
I can completly sympathize!! I slip and fall, then struggle to get back up. I'm in the middle of a cold, too, but am trying really hard to keep myself in check. Comfort foods, mostly high calorie, high fat stuff, is what I crave when I feel lousy.
Now that you're on the mend, you'll be back on track in no time.
I'm the SAME way friend! I moved sites in case I forgot to tell you...

I sometimes find it hard to get back to healthy eating after being on a vacation. It takes determination and motivation, which I can tel you have! Good luck :)
We're all human and suffer from the same problems. Don't pull too hard on your hair
I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better and eating right again. It's really tempting to fall off the wagon when you're under the weather, and I think it probably does end up being not as good an idea as just sticking through while you're sick.
yea, it it were easy, none of us would have these blogs. We all screw up and we all get back on track!
Oh you're singing our song, Suzanne.
If it was good for us and we didn't get fat doing it, I would eat junk all the time. That's the truth.
You'll get back on track, I know it!
