This week i have learned a few new things about myself. I have to be absolutely truthful and say i really didn't want to go out to eat with my hubby as i was sure i'd cave in and eat a billion calories. Au contraire i did have to take time to look at the menu and i was able to find one healthy thing on it besides a house salad. This has given me the confidence to go out to eat again soon!! And i'm telling you it was hard to find anything healthy on that menu. They even had butter glazed steak.
On Tuesday i have another big hurdle coming up. It's an annual board meeting, with a set plate dinner. They always have the same, chicken cordon bleu, roast potatoes, veggies, salad with the dressing already on and some yummy desserts. So my plan is to eat ask if i can have a salad with dressing on the side, 1/2 the chicken, the veggies, maybe a baby potatoe or two and no dessert!! We'll see how it goes.
And i do have to say that i'm enjoying the food i'm eating :) The raspberries i ate today were so fresh and sweet! And so much healthier than sugar. I just need to keep the momentum going.
And today?? Back to working at the donut shop!
