First of all we had to get our old one out the door which took some major doing. It also made some scratches on our front door. Then we needed to vacuum etc.
So far so good.
Then the truck arrived with our couch. They decided that they would have to take our front door off to get the couch in. Well maybe not, it wouldn't fit in even with the door off!! Oh my!
We are in a townhouse which is built onto the back of another townhouse. Hard to explain but just imagine we're on the second floor. We have to go up around 14 steps to get into our front door. Anyway the delivery men decided the only way we were getting our couch in was to take our living room windows out and hoist the couch up and in the window!! Oh la la
We finally got it in. And then we had to put the windows back in and the door back on.
It was definitely worth it, i love the new couch but i really don't want to get another one for quite a few years!

I did a double take at your cat because he/she looks really big in the picture...it's probably just where he/she's standing. It looks like Snuffy is planning to get up there and lounge on it too!

We bought a couch and love seat on Sunday. Last night I got cold feet and cancelled the order! Our room is only 12x12 and the stuff is just going to be too big. Man, my husband is P*****, even though I'm the one who had to talk him into buying it over a series of months. Oh well. I know I did the right thing. I can't imagine having to take windows out to get a couch in!!
