Not that long ago during the weeks leading up to Easter weekend i would have been on the computer eating as much chocolate as i could without anyone knowing!
I couldn't wait for the days after Easter to be able to buy all that chocolate marked down to practically nothing.
This morning i made myself a snack of a banana, 1/2 tbsp honey and some walnuts and i was thoroughly enjoying it when i saw the 2 Cadbury cream eggs that i've bought for the hubs and i to eat this Monday. And suddenly i thought wow you know i'd really rather have this than those eggs or any other junk right now :)
It's taken a while but it's finally sinking in!

Isn't it amazingly awesome when you get to that place?!? It means you are grounded and really connected in w. your body. And your body's appreciating the healthy snack rather than screaming for the toxic chemicals and junk.

That, my dear, is what one calls progress!! And Bravo to you!!
That's so incredibly awesome! I'm waiting for that to kick in, lol.
Have a great weekend!
Mmm...I love these kinds of days!
Good for you! That's awesome! And, I love the idea for the snack too....the banana looks great!
I think it was about 25 years ago, that I stopped eating chocolate. It sometimes makes me wonder what my weight would be if I still ate chocolate the way I did back then - but Easter was always difficult until I hit on the idea of buying a Mason's Ironstone Trinket Egg, large enough to be made in two halves, but conveniently small enough not to be able to contain much more than a tiny sparkly thing...now others have chocolate eggs, and I get my 'Easter Egg' the same as everyone else.

Awesome!!! I like the way you think!
I'm not completely there yet, still love me some Cadbury eggs but the quantity has definitely gone down compared to years past!
wow! good for you! it's amazing to feel that way, isn't it?

I bought $35 worth of Easter candy, and then took it all back!!! my kids are grown, I don't need or want it and hubby certainly doesn't need it. Easter is trueloy the chocolate holiday!!
