Wow 300+ followers!!

I can't believe i have 300+ followers!! Time to celebrate :)

To celebrate having 300+ followers i'm going to give away a surprise box of ??? Can't tell you or it wouldn't be a surprise! I'm also giving 3 other people some Honeybars.

What are Honeybars??? Only the best nut/granola bars ever.

One of the things i love about them is the fact that they have such simple ingredients that i can actually read and understand :)

For example Apple Cinnamon: rolled oats, honey, raisins, dried apples, almonds, crisp brown rice, cinnamon. I know what each and every ingredient is!

Another example Cranberry delite: peanuts, honey, dried cranberries(made from cranberries, concentrated apple juice,sunflower oil), raisins, dried apricots, almonds(contains peanuts, tree nuts and may contain sesame)

They are all natural, kosher, vegetarian, sweetened with only honey, no cholesterol, no trans fats, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients, no added colours or flavors. They also have some organic ones:

They are Canadian, awesome eh!! I love promoting Canadian companies.

Honestly i've been giving these to friends to try and they all love them.

The only negative i heard was that they are sticky and a little soft! Well they are made with honey and they don't have a lot of artificial ingredients to make them rock hard :) I'll take sticky and soft any day.

So if you'd like to try to win a mystery box or some samples of Honeybars just leave me a comment telling me your best advice on how to stay healthy and on Friday May 28 i'll pick one winner for the mystery box and 3 other winners to receive Honeybars.

If you don't have a blog please leave me your e-mail so that i can contact you if you win.

If you'd like to try these bars you can find them at Longo's, Save on Foods, Overwaitea, Safeway, London Drugs, Wal-Mart SuperCentres, IGA, Sobeys Quebec and Sobeys West.  Also a majority of the Metro's and A/P stores carry them as well.

Most small independent health food stores will have them.
Petro Canada, Esso and Shell gas stations also carry them.

**I received this product for free. This is my honest review.
Thank you to Michelle from Honeybar products for allowing me to do this review :)

The winners can be from anywhere!! I will ship them anywhere.

Ohhh pick me pick me! LOL

My tip is: Don’t let the scale be your only measure of your health status. Take measurements, get your body fat % measured, get blood work checked, and keep track of how you feel emotionally.

My advice (which I sadly don't follow half the time) is to cut the C.R.A.P.
C= caffine
R= refined sugar
A= anything artificial
P= processed foods

Of course, there's also water consumption, keeping calories in check and getting my tired self up and moving.

*crossing fingers* I hope I win!

Hmm well, I would have to say be honest with yourself for one. You have to be honest about what you've eaten, how much and how often. You have to move your body! You have to be kind to yourself, take some quiet time to reflect. And learn to love yourself! No matter what the scale says! Or how the pants fit!

Those bars sound very tasty. I like the fact that they would be soft and chewy.
My best advice is ripping off Nike--Just do it.
What 'it' is. Just go out right now and take that 10 minute walk. Don't worry about it not being enough.

Wow ... I've never seen those before AND they're Canadian!!! Double happiness. I love the ingredients list too. Just like the Larabars ... REAL food.

I'm not entering the contest as I have all the snacky things here that I can handle for the moment.

My best advice is to Eat Clean 95% of the time, focus on things other than food to fulfill you and move your body.

Congrats on 300+ followers, Suzanne!

My best advice for staying healthy:

* Get out and move around. It doesn't even have to be "exercise;" just move!

* Eat small portions, many times throughout the day. The closer to "real, living food" you can eat, the better. If it wasn't alive at some point (if it was "processed" or "manufactured"), then don't eat it.

Cheers!

Wow! Those look sooooooo good! Hmmmmm, my best advice? Let's see. How about - think before you eat. Think about how it will make you feel before during and after. Think about why you are eating and what you are really looking to get out of it.

Ooh, I love surprises! My best advice would be to realize that everyone makes mistakes and to not let one bad day turn into one bad week, month, YEAR, etc. Being perfect all the time is TOO exhausting!

My advice: Never give up! Doesn't matter if it's hard or if you plateau or if you gain. Just don't give up. Take a break if you need to, but come back and keep losing!
