My plan this morning was to go on a stroll and take some pictures.
When i woke up i made my brekkie (protein pancake and turkey bacon) and what on the computer busily catching up. All's well. Halfway through my brekkie i started to get severe pain at the back of my mouth where the jaws connect. I'm talking a lot of pain. Now since i have the early start of heart disease i have of course been told all the symptoms of a heart attack and one of them can be jaw pain!!!
O.k i'm seriously starting to freak out. I actually took a pain killer that i haven't had to take in ages and yep the pain was still there. So i went to the freezer and made a little baggie with frozen peas in it and held it again my jaw. Felt a little better but still there!!
So in my brilliant wisdom i decide to go back to bed because honestly i thought this might be the best thing to do. Just as i'm about to go into my bedroom i realize i'm wearing a headband and not a cloth headband but a hard one. And you guessed it the minute i took it off instant pain relief.
I still went back to bed because i was so mentally exhausted and embarrassed :)

That made me laugh...and feel better about the head slapping stuff I do ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY!
I wear glasses and sometimes the hard headbands, too. It usually hurts in my temple, as in the beginning of a migraine. Then I do the "oh it's just the headband" moment.
I'm so glad that's all it was for you today!
Very funny. Reminds me of my hubby looking for his reading glasses when they are right there on tip of his nose. Glad no heart attack or worse! Michele

Are we related? Because I am constantly thinking I'm having a stroke. One time my lens popped outta my glasses when I was driving and I suddenly couldn't see properly . . .
Now...though your headband was causing the pain, what if it wasn't the head band?!?! I want you to go to the doctor rather than taking a nap. You hear me :) I'm glad that this was nothing more than a brain fart :)
Well, I am very relieved to hear it was only a headband.
