Had a great plan to go for a really long bike ride this afternoon with the hubs. Well we got our coats on (yep it's cold), got the helmets on, made sure i had some money and took the bikes outside. That's when we realized the hubs bike had a flat!!! He needed a new inner tube and by the time he got it fixed it was a little late to be going on the ride. Oh and did i mention by that time it was pouring rain????
Seriously not my day!
However while the hubs was fixing his bike i put some new shoes on and went for a walk. Did i mention new shoes :) Yep my daughter works in a shoe store and happens to take the same size as me. She also happens to know i wanted to try the sport/shaper shoes but the $ was a little high for me at 125 dollars. Anyway she happened to score these for free and she mad me a happy camper. These ones actually aren't as ugly as some of them, in fact i think they're cute. Oh and they're by Naturalizer :) Forgive the lighting.
Can you guess what this is?? Give up?? Well it's pumpkin and as i love pumpkin i buy the big cans but i can only use so much at time so i take a 1/4c measuring cup and take a baking sheet lined with wax paper and plop (lol) the pumpkin on and throw them in the freezer. Then when i want pumpkin i just take out however much i need.
And to change subjects once again today's exercise was the side bend! Lots of fun
Back to work tomorrow so tonight i'm watching movies with the hubs. Hope you had a healthy day!

Oooh, nice daughter. Enjoy the new shoes. I had a cat named Snuffy once...a real sweetie. I have a cat that looks exactly like yours now...and her name is Mouse.
we still can't get Libby Pumpkin here... bummer
That frozen pumpkin treat idea is a real winner... you been doing that a long time or just discover it?
I bought a pair of shoes like that and I ended up with hip pain. Don't know why! I really liked the shoes and they were expensive. I hate that I can't wear them!
I love the pumpkin idea. I always throw away about a quarter of the can when I make pumpkin bread. Never thought to freeze it. Awesome idea!!
Hugs!
So how were the shoes?? :) Snuffy looks so cute!
Awesome new shoes! How cool is that. Have you tried pumpkin cookies? Just a can of pumpkin and a spice cake mix (and choc. chips if you want). Bake for 20 min. at 350. YUM!! My kids love 'em!

Cute kitty! They always love suitcases. Too sweet.
I'm curious if you like those Naturalizers. I bought the Shapers and hated them. $125. They make me nauseous. I know, it sounds stupid, but I get kind of sick every time I wear them. Plus I tend to "fall" off of them. Oh well, a waste of money.
Frozen pumkin. Great idea. I usually end up throwing away half a can. I'll to give that a try. Love pumpkin in my oatmeal...with a few walnuts. Yummy.
ooh can i say jelous, i want some of those trainers too, but they are too expensive:(
Free shoes? Where can I apply for that job!? ;)
Omg, that photo is adorable :) Also, let me know if the shoes really work. I've been debating trying a pair...
I have both the Reebok Easy Tones and the Sketcher Shape-Ups. I like the Shape-Ups for how much I feel my muscles working when I wear them. I like the Easy Tones when I working on my feet all day.
How did the Naturalizers work?
Great looking shoes and even better price.
