Today my plan was to go for a nice walk before Ralph left to go on a long ride to visit a friend. Well i showered, got dressed and was ready to go. Just as i was heading for the door i realized i hadn't put the stew in the slow cooker yet, and if i didn't get it on right away it wouldn't be ready for dinner!!
So back to the kitchen and chop, chop, chop the stew is in the slow cooker ready. However by this time Ralph is going out the door and we have an important phone call we're waiting for that we don't want to miss. There goes the walk for now.
I plugged my mp3 into the computer and started the tunes. Squats, counter pushups and dancing was the plan. What a blast i had :)
Later today we need to go to the mall to pick up a few things and it's a huge mall so i know i'll be getting lots of walking in there. I feel really good knowing i managed to get some extra movement into my day. Some days you
just need to go with the flow.

I long for the days of lovely walks. Hopefully soon. I have to say, the stew makes me long for a cool, autumn day.....just not right away. :)
I think I can make it in time for supper! Stew on this cool day sound perfect.

So your exercise changed to you dancing & pushing up there in the kitchen as you made stew? That is a level of dedication to aspire to if I ever heard. Awesome, good for you!
I really miss the big mall! I used to love walking the mall in the winter time. I would walk for an hour and a half while my "baby" would sleep in his stroller. Come to think of it, I was pregnant, and I had only gained 16 lbs through the whole pregnancy!
I think you did great by getting in the activity that you did!
You are so good...and inspiring. Sometimes when the plans change we "tend to want to forget about it." Good for you for rolling with the punches and moving around.
That is great. I would just blow it off as I am great procrastinator and excuse user. I walk to pick my son up from school. Round trip it is a mile. Not to shabby. I don't do it everyday, but almost.
Isn't this journey all about going with the flow sometimes? We can't plan and control everything, unfortunately. Good for you.
Going with the flow and still getting your activity in is exactly what a healthy lifestyle is!! Great job!
