I'm absolutely chuffed!!

So after a bit of 'oh i could just stay home and relax' and 'get your butt out the door' i decided to get off my butt and go out :)

A little nippy out today so i put leggings, sweat pants and a long sleeve and a short sleep top on! I was ready to go.

I started out walking at a pretty good pace not over doing it but definitely not strolling. Then i thought i wonder if i can jog from that tree to that one which was a good bit down the path. Well i wouldn't know unless i tried and i remembered someone saying (i think it was Phil?) relax your legs and your arms so as i'm running i'm mentally telling myself to not hurry but to relax and enjoy it. You know what? It worked. I probably did 7 or 8 running spurts and i absolutely loved doing it.  For the last 5 minutes of walking i swear i had a smile on my face the whole time.

So to the bloggers that are just starting out please keep it up because you are inspiring not only i but a lot of other people i'm sure!!

And i want to take a second here to say hi to new readers and followers! Thanks for following my journey.

Bravo to you! So cool that you decided to take on doing some 'spurts'. I recently did the same and surprised myself in a big way when I found I can actually jog and incorporate it into my exercise. Keep it up, take it slow; but enjoy the change your exercise is about to undertake.

How great that you got up the courage to just do it! I have been wanting to, also, but I get so nervous.

Hope you are having a wonderful week, Suzi!

Suzi, just keep doing just that. Only each time, just run a little more than you did last time. I was only jogging a quarter mile then I got up to a half mile, now I am at mile and a quarter. It gets addictive too. Runner's high is not bs, trust me!!
