1. what is your favorite cold weather soup??

Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle--Hot. As soon as it starts getting cold, uh--yuk...I'll re-heat!

2. what vitamins/supplements do you take??

None. Although maybe I should.

3. what do you think about the cooler weather coming? Love it or hate it?

I'm never satisfied. When it's hot, I complain, and when it's cold--I always wish it were warmer. If it could just stay about 75 year around... However, I love the cool crisp fall weather, I'm pretty sure it's my favorite season.

4. what is your favorite way to use pumpkin?

For fall themed decoration and for pie.

5. What did you/are you having for breakfast today?

Two egg whites with fresh mushrooms and mozzarella, folded into a 60 calorie Joseph's Bakery Pita and a banana. Total calories: 244 With my coffee creamer, make it an even 300!

Thank you Suzi---I needed that!!!

My best always
Sean

Yay for question day!

1. what is your favorite cold weather soup??

Butternut squash soup!

2. what vitamins/supplements do you take??

The only thing I take is 2000 IU of Vitamin D3. Evidently I was terribly deficient, according to my doc.

3. what do you think about the cooler weather coming? Love it or hate it?

I love the cooler weather, but the shorter days will make it harder to ride my bike after coming home from work.

4. what is your favorite way to use pumpkin?

I have just been admiring pumpkin from afar and have yet to jump onto the pumpkin bandwagon, but I will soon. Until then, honestly, I have to say pie.

5. What did you/are you having for breakfast today?

My breakfast is my usual these days. Let me say that I am flat out in love with Flat Out. Breakfast will be chopped veggies - spinach, tomatoes and summer squash today, sauted and mixed with egg whites and lots of Italian spices, served atop one half of an oven-crisped Flat Out.

Hi Suzi!

1.Fav soup? Homemade minestrone...I made it on Monday...yum. (But I haven't tried your recipe yet for Butternut squash.)

2. Vitamins? Citrical (Vit D + calcium), Omega 3 fish oil capsules, Vit C, magnesium

3. Love or hate cool weather? Both! Right now, I'm enjoying the cooler weather, after spending a hot, sweaty summer in Florida. But when the cold weather really gets here in Russia, I'll be wishing for the beach. You might say I enjoy having different seasons!

4. Fav way to use pumpkin? Well, it's not real pumpkin, but I like Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Lattes! Otherwise, I like it in soup. I have a great recipe for Curried Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Soup.

5. Breakfast? Always the same! Water, coffee, banana, small bowl of Kashi Go Lean Vanilla Crunch cereal sprinkled on mini-choco high fibre weetabix.

New reader, so /wave!

1. Soup? Homemade chicken soup with dumplings if I'm feeling frisky.

2. Vitamins? I should them more regularly. When I do, it's just a regular multi-vitamin and fish oil.

3. Cool weather? I love this time of year. 40 degrees in the morning, 65-70 in the "heat" of the day. I wish it'd be like this year round.

4. Using pumpkin? Carved in a funny face sitting on my front porch. Not a big pumpkin eating person.

5. Today's breakfast? Will likely skip this morning in favor of an early lunch - I don't feel hungry yet.

1. Soup: classic beef with tomatoes and veggies and a half a peanut butter jelly sandwich--had this from grade school through high school in cafeteria and it was comforting--just always stuck with me

2. supplements: Fish oil, Glucosamine chondroiton -poor joints, multi vitamin, and when I feel like I'm having a cold come on I load up with zinc, echinacchia, and vitamin c

3. cold weather: bring it baby--as long as I can get my cool weather clothes and quilts and throws washed and ready

4. Pumpkin: YES. Lately in pancakes and mixed with cottage cheese or yogurt with splenda and pumpkin pie spice

5.Brekkie: Jimmy Dean's Light turkey sausage egg/ potatoe scramble --like 260 cal but i give many of the potato bits to the dogs...and 1/2 cup "baked" apples / pecans and Dunkin ' Donuts french vanilla coffee , of course--awesome breakfast!
