Same old, same old!

Today is another day at work selling donuts and sugar :)

Next week i'll post the recipe for the butternut squash soup, it turned out great, even the hubby had a couple of bowls!

I'll be starting a colon cleansing kit on Monday! I was sent a colonix kit by the nice people at Dr. Natura! I have in the past suffered from IBS so i think this will be a good thing to try. I will update as i'm using it to let you know my opinion. I be using it for at least 30 days. Don't worry it is a gentle one so i won't be spending too much time upstairs :)

Plans for this weekend?? Work

Hope you have an awesomely healthy weekend!

** Thank  you so much for all the birthday wishes**

I'm going to be honest and say that a colon cleanse does not sound like fun to me! I hope it does for you what you're hoping, though.

When I read that you are selling donuts and sugar (!) I winced. I had 2 close encounters with donuts this week and they really messed me up! Have a good weekend!

Suzi, is there something I didn't know about you? Do you work at Tim Hortons? (The comment about the donuts and sugar...?)

I look forward to getting your butternut squash soup recipe. I'm just hoping it doesn't call for pumpkin or sweet potatoes...can't buy those in Russia (but you'd think they'd be growing them all over the place here!)

Have a nice weekend!

I watched one of those reality TV programmes about celebrities undergoing the colon-cleanse and it was amazing to see some of the different reactions the treatment got...one guy was so moved (pardon the pun) he began crying tears of joy, another lady felt no different, another felt much livelier and energetic, and just detoxified....so it sounds like it could be a great thing. Good for you trying something out there.

I think doing cleanses are very good - that comment coming from someone who was sick for 30+ years w/ undiagnosed celiac disease...my body NEEDED a break. But seriously, I always feel great during cleanses, and esp. after. Hope it's good to you!
Timmy's? Ohhhhhh!
Canadian, eh?!

I hope it's VERY gentle. I had an unintentional colon cleansing when I took too much of a greens and superfoods mixture (I should have researched online FIRST) and ended up thinking I had food poisoning from the colonic blow-out.

Well, I was REALLY REALLY clean afterwards. :D

Happy detoxing.

My Colonix is going OK. Like I said in my post, the fiber supplement tastes terrible. But I guess it's worth it in the end—sorry I couldn't resist.

I think this kind of cleanse is probably a good thing. Try mixing the supplement with juice. Good luck.
