This is not a good week!

We found out last night that Ralph's brother-in-law passed away yesterday morning! He had been bravely battling cancer but is definitely in peace now.

So much tragedy in one week.

I'm kind of living in automatic if you know what i mean. I'm just doing what i usually do but i'm in kind of a haze.

I have not dived into food this week which surprises me because with all the stress that is what i would normally do! And this morning i tied up my laces and went out on a walk/run. It is a big help for me stress wise.
And believe it or not i ran longer than i have before.

Hang on!

Don't think they're coming back for this

Sorry for the loss Suzi, that is a tough week for you. Way to go on getting out and relieving some stress though. Great pictures as always.

I sympathize on your loss and send my best thoughts to you.

I had a huge, huge, huge crying jag yesterday after seeing a pic of my mom in the kitchen. Pic's always there, on the fridge, but I missed her so much yesterday, I lost it and started wailing. Nothing, nothing, nothing worse than losing people you love.

Sigh.

May Heaven comfort you and yours...

and thank you for the photos. I love that first one so much, I may save it to my hard drive. Something about the "heart-like" shape of the leaf and it's hanging there a bit lonesome, ready to die....makes me both sad and appreciate its fragile beauty.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Suzi. You and your hubby are in my prayers.

Take care of yourself, dearheart. I pray that you feel the Father's arms around you in the coming days.

Thank you for the picture of the little lane--I love paths! Now I want to go outside and find one to walk down.

Love your pictures. That looks like Chinese lantern (not sure of the scientific name). Does that grow wild around your neck of the woods?? Nice work on the running farther and faster!

Suzanne, I'm sorry to hear about Ralph's BIL. But like you said, he's at peace now. Not turning to food & getting a workout in are huge NSVs, and I hope you can at least see that as a silver lining. Thinking of you.

I feel for your loss Suzi...cancer is a [insert relevant curse word here]. I'm happy to hear to are reacting to stress with healthy behaviours rather than reaching for the comfort food though.

Have a hug on me. All the best for the coming week mate.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. This was a hard week for us too so I can identify with the haze.

Beautiful pictures. So nice to see beauty when there is so much ugliness that surrounds us. :)
