Anyone else??
So i seriously started the new weight watchers plan. I love it so far. It's definitely easier to follow if you don't eat a lot of processed foods! I love that it promotes fruit, veggies, complex carbs and protein.
I did have to buy some of the new materials so that i could have the calculator, companion guide and eating out guide. But in my opinion they are more than worth it.
So what's my problem?? Eating all my points!!! Some days are easier than others :) I've even started to plan to drink some lattes just because i can. Well they are made from Almond Breeze but still....
I think it's going to take some time to get used to this but hey, i'm willing to learn.
You know what has given me the added motivation?? YOU!
When i decided to do the weekly challenges i honestly thought it would be just me or maybe a couple of people might join me but honestly i am truly amazed at how many are willing to join me. Thank you!
The one thing i am managing to do better is to get my water in! In fact today i've drank 10 cups so far!! I may have to slow down so that i can sleep tonight :)
How is your week going??

Not doing well with the water thing. Seems like I DONT drink as much since its colder. I do drink hot cider, but that doesn't count. Beautiful photo shot today!
Just do what you can "hugs"!
p.s. i love apple cider :)
Re: the new WW. I like the sound of it, that's for sure. In fact, I'm pretty tempted by it.
BUT I've read posts or comments from those in UK and Holland who got the new program last year--who also loved it AND gained weight.
I think there's a caution re: the fruit. It's free of points, but fruit can pack some calories. So, my advice is to go easy with your mission to eat all of your points.
If I do start it, I'm going to count cals, too. Just in case.

Latte = good!
Snow = pretty!
I have to admit, I'm kinda liking the new plan too. I didn't expect to, in fact I thought I would hate it, but it's still growing on me.
I think it's weird that you have to TRY to find more to eat to get in your points. If this is about losing weight, I can't see where you would be trying to find more to eat. It doesn't make sense. I think that the fruit thing doesn't make sense either.
I will be super glad if you are successful at it but my initial thought is that it is a moneymaking scheme and they want you to lose weight so slowly, that you'll keep coming to them constantly. I do wish you well though! :-)
Well when you go from 19 points a day to 29 points a day it does take a while to figure things out. Some of the foods especially processed ones are higher in points but i don't eat a lot of those anyway. So i'm just trying to figure what will work for me.
ummm Almond milk! I love that stuff!
pee & sleep... pee & sleep...
thats how you roll now! :D
Send that extra food my way LOL!
I am glad to see fruit is free with WW. That was the only plan besides Atkins that could make one fear a banana.
I'm with you....I'm been struggling off and on to eat all my points. That said, I've risen to the challenge and have managed to eat 'em all all week! Have a great day.
sounds like you are doing good! go you! :)
There seem to be so many people who are joining the new WW plan and I find it so exciting!!!
I too started it 2 weeks ago and LOVE it. I think the calculator is great even though Ive heard so many complaints!
I don't get though how people cant eat all their points?! I get 29 and normally always consume at least 31!
Ive heard though too that WW doesnt mandate you eat all the points anymore, just eat till your full!
Cant wait to see your first weeks success with the program!
I don't really have to think about the water much anymore, but the sugar thing? Wow. I said I would on Monday, and thought I did really well, until I actually checked the labels. My sugar was still really low, but it's scary how many things have even just a little added in! This challenge definitely raised awareness, that's for sure!
