I didn't see any difference as I use very little salt anyway;)
Me, too, as well....
I never use salt at all....
Just not a salty gal.
So it was a non-starter!
There's was too much salt in stuff we eat, anyways.
Can't wait till the next challenge!
It wasn't really hard for me. I don't use a lot of salt anyway. But I did miss it on my eggs. I used a lot of pepper to make up for the salt and that worked out well. So, yes, I did make the challenge. Thanks, Suzy.:)
Hi suzy. This one was an easy one for me as I too don't add salt. But I was paying more attention to the sodium in food
I add salt to what I'm cooking. I was raised with the saying (from my Italian grandmother) "It should taste like the sea!" So, I cut way down on my home cooking, and didn't use any in my rice yesterday. YUCK! Otherwise, the salt shaker has been put away. No change in weight, or puffiness as far as that goes. I'm not a puffy girl to begin with!
I really did quite well. The only time I used salt was when I had an egg (yucko without salt) but other than that I rocked the salt shaker and conciously made the effort not to grab for it! Woot!
As usual, your challenges made me very mindful of my habits. The ONLY time I added salt was if I had eggs. I can't stand eggs without salt.:) Other than that, I did not sprinkle on the extra salt.
I haven't checked the scale. Tomorrow is weigh in and I made a promiseto myself that I wouldn't get on the scale before weigh in this week. :)
Thanks for the challenge.
Hi Suzi, I did well on this one when I cooked myself...I don't salt anything when I cook or add it at the table. The way I see it, there is enough salt in everything that goes into the dishes... BUT...we went out a couple of times, and I KNOW there was lots of salt in a couple of the dishes. Oh well, it was out of my control. Have a good weekend.
I also do not really add salt to many things...
But I did make better choices with processed food as I was looking at the sodium content (and boy were there some shockers! D:)
Didn't eat as many veggies this week, so I still need to keep up that challenge ;)
Ooooo, this was sooo hard and ultimatly, I did end up using salt. I knew I was a saltoholic, but this week really made me see how much I used. I used much less and will continue to work toward using an even smaller amount.
No added salt for me. I almost did add salt twice - and I never add salt to my food- when I was eating raw carrot sticks. Thanks to you, I didn't do it. Mindfulness ... it's a great thing.
I did it all week with no salt. What amazed me as that I didn't really miss it. It really made me aware of how much I was using. I think I might make it a new habit. Less salt for me from now on!! Thanks for this challenge!!!
Kathy
I did real good on this challenge.. I found that I don't need to add more salt to my all ready seasoned food..
Blessings,
~Lynn
