I'm still here :)

And i'm feeling pretty good! I think i just needed to take some time to figure out what i needed to do.

I have decided that this blog really is about me and i don't need to worry about what someone else is doing! I love blogging and i love this blog. I love reading other blogs too. So i'm here to stay.

I've also decided that i'm going to put a weekly challenge out on Sunday but i'm not going to keep track of names etc because that was very time consuming. So if anyone wants to do the challenge with me i'd love to have you leave a comment and a week later i'll give everyone a chance to leave another comment letting everyone know if you did it and how it went. Hope you understand.

I also need to get back to my regular walks!! I honestly don't know why i haven't been doing them but i need to get back to them. Along with that i need to be planning my meals and posting them on my other blog, why?? because that's what works for me!! Yes Karla i'm back :)

For now i need to focus on me, and getting my routine back.

So my main challenge for this week?? To plan my food and exercise on paper and do it!! Anyone with me?

Hello Suzi!

I have been very busy over Christmas and in Jan. with guests and daughters moving in and out again. But now it´s time to focus on me again. I have gained many pounds (AGAIN!) and I want to join your challenge. I need to write down my food intake and you just gave me the incentive to do this. I´ll let you know how that goes.

Love your blog, Suzi. Your plan sounds good and will give you more time. I'm struggling with getting enough exercise too. The weather here is a little better so off we go to walk today. I have to say I admire your spunk when you go out walking in dreadful weather.

Every blog is individual, so just be yourself and you will enjoy blogging for a long time. When we try to fit perceived expectations is when it isn't so fun anymore.

I pretty much always track my food unless I am challenging myself to *not* track specifically.

I definitely need to plan this week. It's my car share week so hubby has the car and I get a lift to work with my neighbour. That always makes it harder to get to the gym as I either have to walk home (if my neighbour drops me off there after work) or walk to AND from the gym!

Planning my exercise this week is definitely required to make sure i actually go!

Glad you're back and I think that's a great idea, Suzi. That does seem like a lot of work keeping track of everyone's progress when we can all keep track of it ourselves and report back :)

Whenever we notice we are starting to lose focus on ourselves, we need to pull back and put things back into priority. I'm glad you were able to do that for YOU.

I so know what you mean about negative blogging though. Right now I am focusing on the positive and real people who have ups & downs. We cannot all be positive all the time, but anyone who is nasty or attacking others...DING...NEXT. I so ignore them. Just like in real life, I wouldn't spend a second of my precious life with them, why would I do it online :)

I have never pre-planned my food or exercise, beyond a general amount of calories I try to limit myself to and x number of workouts per week. So this may be just what I need to stop that nasty 3 pounds from going away,m then coming back, and doing it all over again!
AND I so need to get back to more walking. Taking the kids to school and back just doesn't seem to be enough, and I do so love a nice walk.

You should enjoy blogging, just as much as we who read your blog enjoy reading it!

I really like the challenge this week, planning is an thing and something I struggle with. I'm with you on this one. Although I think I'm going to do a vaiation on it and just plan exercise....baby steps you know :)

I love your blog and you are so inspiring to me. So happy your not going anywhere!! It's hard to find "our place" in the blogosphere, with so many styles out there but I agree do what's best for you. That's what I do and the best blogs are the ones that are "you."

Oh yeah, and I'll follow the challenge. I have been choosing not to plan my meals. I started out this week writing everything down, but it dwindled off by the end of the week. This is going to be a difficult one for me.

About 2 weeks ago I started preplanning my meals and exercise for the week and it has been a big help for me. Not having to think about it all week and just stick to the plan is alot less stressfull for me anyway. Love your blog!! I have still not gotten on the scale, Tuesday is my day. Wish me luck!!
