Lesson learned!

I'm usually really organized about going to meetings! I make sure i take water and i usually pick up a coffee :) Oh and what`s the other thing i usually do well i usually take my lunch.

I had my breakfast at 8 am and then just got home and ate my lunch at 3:30!! Lucky i didn't have a chance to go get something unhealthy. I do have to tell you that a home made chicken salad sandwich and an orange have never felt so good :)

Lesson learned!

  2. Amazing that you were able to stop at that very healthy lunch and not blow it because you were so hungry. I find those are the times I lose control, but you didn't!

  4. It seems I haven't learned from that lesson, as you have. But I do always have a bag of almonds in my bag, and a bottle of water. They have bridged my hunger many times.

  5. I always do much better eating at home than grabbing something on the run. You should check into getting a Bento Box so you can take some food with you. :)

  6. It is so tough when you go too long between meals. Unfortunately, the temptation for something quick and easy (and usually unhealthy) can become too strong. Glad you stuck to eating healthy!

  7. LOL I did that a few weeks ago, and stopped at McD's for a side salad. I've never tasted anything as good as that lettuce and 8 shreds of carrot. :)

  8. I had a chicken salad sandwich for lunch today too! I paired my sandwich with 10 baby carrots though.

  13. I have trouble going that long between meals or snacks, I'm sure most of us do. You rock though that you ate at home, and such a healthy meal too! I did that the other day actually. I had a salad and a can of tuna and let me tell you it was the most delicious thing I had ever eaten! Funny thing is I had just had the same lunch a few days before..LOL!

  14. EEK! Were you still feeling okay? I usually get feeling quite nauseaus if I go too long w/o food. I always carry food in my purse - mostly because I can't eat anything w/ gluten so that limits my choices anywhere (and I'm glad I have limits!) but also so I can make sure that I keep eating every 3 hrs. or so.
Almonds are a great purse snack - as long as you only eat about 7-10 each time!
