    My age and positive thinking.

    Loose clothing - cannot get over that feeling.

    Mixed fruit.

    2. If you drink coffee what is your favourite blend or flavour?? I drink plain, old black coffee. We have a Keurig machine and some of my favorite flavors are chocolate glazed donut, butter toffee, and caramel vanilla creme

    3. What is the best non scale victory you've had so far? Staying on the stairmill for 30 minutes, Arc trainer for 40 minutes, and running a 10K

    4. What was the last snack you had?? watermelon

    1. My husband. I want a long life with him. I love him sooo much.

    2. Hazelnut! yummo

    3. I dropped two clothes sizes but only dropped a couple of pounds. Crazy. I think it's the strength training.

    4. a small piece of 85% dark chocolate

    5. fish, a small bit of noodles, and lots of veggies

    Carmel Vanilla Cream decaf...to die for!

    Fitting into clothes I haven't been able to wear for a couple of years!

    Mixed berries...sprinkled with honey and cinnamon.

    Veggie stir fry with Turkey Kielbasi 1 cup of skimmed milk and a portion size of cantelope for dessert.

    I want to see what and who the healthy me is all about. I have NO idea what a healthy weight looks like on me and I'm looking forward to finding out!

    2. If you drink coffee what is your favourite blend or flavour??

    I don't drink coffee- I do drink water and fruit punch Crystal Light.

    3. What is the best non scale victory you've had so far?

    This happened just yesterday, I haven't even posted about it yet! But, I actually outlasted my beanpole husband in endurance training! I can't believe that currently, I'm in better shape than a man who has been at a healthy weight his whole life.

    Sargento light string cheese and orange smiles!:-D

    Sweet and Sour Veggie Meatless Meatballs over brown rice and veggie stirfry! It's gonna be GOOD!

  6. 1. What helps to keep you motivated on your journey to health??

    Lately I've been slackin', BUT over the past 3-4 days I've been feeling more and more like crap. Generally unwell from the inside. I NEVER feel this way, even when I'm sick. SO, today I vowed to eat healthier (the bf and I ate out a lot this weekend out of convenience because we weren't home), drink more tea, coffee, and water rather than soda, and barely juice drinks.

    2. If you drink coffee what is your favourite blend or flavour??

    I NEED (read;love) coffee. I prefer unflavored blends, and my favorites are smoky bold roasts.

    3. What is the best non scale victory you've had so far?

    Deciding to buy an elliptical is so far the nsv I'm most proud of. I LOVE to run and move but since I moved to a hillacious neighborhood in the desert, my asthma can't handle it. I intend to purchase the elliptical when I move later this year and plan to use it daily. I can't wait...

    4. What was the last snack you had??

    String Cheese.

    Mac & Cheese and a large salad. Not the healthiest food but I have to get through with what's on hand until I can go grocery shopping tomorrow. ;)

    My husband and children and grandchildren.

    I don't drink coffee but I love hot cocoa. I don't do that often though. I also love English Breakfast Tea.

    Having people who have known me for years, not recognize me until I tell them who I am.

    4. What was the last snack you had??

    A protein shake.

    Not sure yet. Maybe baked chicken.

    1. What helps to keep you motivated on your journey to health??
    My grandbabies and the way I feel as I lose weight!

    2. If you drink coffee what is your favourite blend or flavour??
    Love French roast, but the lighter brew. No flavored coffee for me, please!

    3. What is the best non scale victory you've had so far?
    I think being able to walk 5 miles and now starting ever so slowly to jog.

    4. What was the last snack you had??
    Cup of coffee with a 100 cal granola bar

    Left overs from last night:
    Chicken with carrots and potatoes smashed together. Delicious!

    Averting chronic disease and continuing to like how I feel in clothing that fits.

    I'm really into cappuccinos lately! But I love Toffee-nut from Starbucks. Do you have SB up there?

    Dancing again.

    Breakfast: bagel, cream cheese and a cappuccino! :)

    My family and knowing i have the early signs of heart disease.

    2. If you drink coffee what is your favourite blend or flavour?? Right now i'm loving my coffee made with a splash of DaVinci English Toffee which reminds me i need to order some :)

    3. What is the best non scale victory you've had so far? that i can actually enjoy exercise in fact sometimes i crave it :) never thought I'd say that.

    4. What was the last snack you had?? Ummmm haven't had any snacks lately but I did have a cheese stick on the go yesterday.

    This is for the hubs!

    2. Coffee favorite is Guatemala origin.

    3. Doing my triathlon and duathlon were huge for me.

    My husband. He's such a great encouragement to me. Plus his compliments let me know I'm doing the right thing :)

    2. If you drink coffee what is your favourite blend or flavour??
    Medium to dark roasted Sumatra Mandheling coffee, fresh ground, with some cardamum pods added before brewing. With a splash of cream...I worked in a coffee shop in university - does it show? :)

    3. What is the best non scale victory you've had so far?
    When I benchpressed my first weight bar at the gym. Sure it has no weights on it yet but WOHOO!

    4. What was the last snack you had??
    A blueberry oatmeal muffin. Yum.

  15. 1. Honestly the pictures in my head of my dad laying on that hospital bed dying from his addiction and the fear of putting my kids through that if I die of my own :(

    2. Anything really dark and full with french vanilla creamer, Coffeemate only please.

    3. Tackling my McDonalds addiction!!

    4. A Cadbury Cream Egg, of that is so bad but I'm being honest. They have been my seasonal favorite since I was a kid.

  17. I am late too - Don't these bosses know I have blogs to read!?
    OK.
    I recently discovered the joy of "Little Old Lady" coffee.
    Regular old Maxwell House. Good to the last drop.
    However - I make mine triple strength. OMG.
    Rocket Fuel for the mind and soul.
    Dinner - what's that? A hand full (or two) of left over peanuts I found in the truck while driving home from a very late -night case!
