Make the best of your day!

We didn't end up going to the library yesterday but we went today!!

I've been waiting for a parcel and normally I check the part that says they can leave it at the door, guess who forgot to do that?? Moi, so I'm waiting for the parcel and then I'll go out :)

Two packages came! One I was expecting and one from my son. Alex sent me a book he enjoyed.

This morning started with some protein waffles, actually they were chocolate/banana/peanut butter waffles!! I just used my regular protein mix and added cocoa, mashed banana and pb2. Oh la la they were delish EXCEPT that I forgot I'd run out of my sugar free maple syrup and now as I'm typing this I remember I have some real maple syrup in my cupboard.

Lunch today was breakfast :) Actually it was scrambled egg with cheese and jalapeno's, turkey bacon, cinnamon raisin bagel thin with strawberry rhubarb jam (1T=25 cal), salsa and grapefruit

Dinner tonight will be pita pizza with turkey pepperoni, 3 clementines and cucumbers on the side!

Had one of these for a snack today. I'm not really fond of them but since I bought them I'll use them up.

Just want to take a second to congratulate my daughter Jen and Martin for buying their first house. Can't wait for the house warming party :)

Your food looks great, Suzy. Now I'm craving waffles but too tired to make healthy ones. :)

Not a big fan of those latte smoothies either. Fun to see the package...we don't have the French on ours here.

I am a huge Stephen King fan. Gunslinger is excellent. Enjoy!

I used to love Stephen King - haven't read any of his books in ages!

Congrats to your daughter and SIL - a first house is so exciting - I was 28 when I got my first house - so much fun!

A new house...how exciting. I have not read the Gunslinger but my husband just finished telling me yesterday what a good book it is.

Yummy....breakfast for lunch. That grapefruit looked really good. And I don't like grapefruit. It just looked pretty.

Huge "Atta Boy" to your kids. Buying a home is a major accomplishment!

ooh. Where did you get peanut butter flour from? I can't find any locally and I'm so curious to try it.

The Dark Tower series of books are fantastic. The first is a bit hard to get through, but if you find it a bit slow keep going - the whole series is fantastic...I couldn't put them down..:)
