This morning I had to get up early and only drink clear fluids because I had to go get an ultrasound done.
Remember last year I had two stents put into an artery because it was almost fully blocked? Well every six months I go for a test to make sure they're where they're supposed to be and my left side will need to be done when it's bad enough :(
This my friends is my motivation to stay healthy!!
The one thing I did enjoy this morning was getting off of the bus early and walking the rest of the way to get some exercise in. Oh and the herbal tea I had.
I took a protein bar and a coffee to eat and drink on the bus ride home. You want to know something funny?? The protein bar wasn't too sweet and didn't taste that good which is great because the ones that taste like a candy bar make me crave candy bars :)
Cinnamon raisin bagel thin with laughing cow mixed with sweetener and cinnamon! Try it, it's great :)
Before I got ready to go to work I had my breakfast: Bob's red mill oh so tasty hot cereal, 1 egg white, apple/cranberries, chia seeds and sf maple syrup!
Protein drink with almonds and clementines for work.
Today was definitely not a normal eating day, but hey, I go with the flow :)

BTW, I had no idea about the stents. Wow. Hope everything is good on this ultrasound!
That's a great reason to stay healthy, Suzi. I don't believe I knew about your stents either. I'm glad they are keeping a watchful eye on you.
So wise of you to take a snack to eat afterwards otherwise you may have been tempted to eat something crazy!
Hope the test results are positive. From the looks of your food today, it is heart healthy!
Hope everything thing comes out great in the results! Love chia seeds!! They are the BEST!

I'm obsesses w/ finding that egg nog syrup - where did you find it? I'm assuming it's a SF one? I couldn't find it here @ Fortino's...saw caramel, irish cream, banana and vanilla. It was $9.99/bottle. Is that what you pay?
Hope your test goes well. Let us know!

Hope the ultrasound went well and everything looked good.
I'm hungry looking at your photos.
Is that one of the new "blue menu" multigrain bagel thins? How are they? (they haven't arrived in BC yet...soon apparently)
