Rolling up my sleeves!!

I need to get down to business on this health journey!!

One good thing is that I have been taking my meds and supplements on time this week. I love the weekly challenges.

Yesterday I went to  meet one of my new Doctors. I almost laughed when I saw him, he looked like he belonged on a Harry Potter movie :) Made an appointment at the beginning of June for both Ralph and I to get physicals. Oh and I will also get a pap smear. It's necessary but not pleasant!

Today started with some Pumpkin french toast, grapefruit on the side. That and a cup of java really kept me going until lunchtime.

For lunch I made a green smoothie (spinach, banana, protein and almond breeze) a pineapple carrot bran muffin and some prosciutto!

Dinner ended up being a chicken breast, sweet and sour sauce, veggies with poppyseed dressing. Oh and I had a banana :)

I grabbed a quick snack to take on my walk: almonds, crasins, raisins, chocolate bits

I also managed to go on a great 55 minute walk, and picked up some groceries (believe you me I needed them).

Suzi, your food looks great!

Glad you finally got in to see the doctor - I lived in Montreal for 7 years and only managed to get a GP (no others were taking new patients/spoke english) right before I moved away...I had seen every sort of specialist, but no GP!

I love ur photos! Have you tried putting a cup of frozen strawberries in your green smoothie? I make mine with milk, WW smoothie mix, a banana, a cup of baby spinach & a cup of frozen strawberries. Delish!

I'm doing great on the challenge so far. Love your photos as usual. Can you post two recipes for us or me? One is the pumpkin French toast. I make mine with egg whites and ground cinnamon. The other is your snack with the almonds and chocolate bits. That looks so good!

I absolutely love how your meals are always so varied, I have a huge problem with that. I just drool over your meals every time you post them, even if it's something I don't like...LOL!!
