Still living!

Happy April fools day!!

I`m off to see my vascular specialist for the results from last months tests. I warned them I was sick and they said no problem you can still come :( I think I was hoping they`d reschedule.

I made a new flavour of protein pancakes: Lemon poppyseed!! So good, I`m going to have to make these again.

Update: For those that don't know I had two stents put into my main artery at the top of my right leg/groin two years ago. It was 98% blocked!
Today they were giving me the results of another ultra sound that showed the stents are doing fine and my left side is 8o% blocked but since I really am not having any pain etc I'm o.k for now :) Don't have to go back for a year.

Just gives me that boost of incentive to eat healthy!

Lunch today: Green monster: 1c almond breeze, baby spinach, banana, whey protein. A pineapple carrot muffin with coconut butter and veggies :)

For work tonight I'm taking a ham sandwich on squirrelly bread, pineapple, fibre one bar and veggies. Not very hungry so I left the veggies at home.

Anyway I'm off to have fun at work. Hope your day is going well.

Sorry about the blocked artery, Suzy. I hope that won't cause problems later on. Glad you stents are working well. Have a great day.

Hope your doctors report is good and all will be OK. Can you post the recipe for the lemon waffles? And I love your heart waffle maker. Where did you get that?

They don't let you off that easy, do they, Suzi. Glad the stents are doing their job and you are inspired to eat well.
