I'm feeling good!

I still have the splint on and I still go for therapy 2/week.

Some things have changed though! I've exercised 6 days out of 7 this week :) I'm really enjoying getting my sweat on!

I can do 90% of the things I used to do with 2 hands. You know me I'm stubborn.

Last night a customer gave me an avocado pitter and masher :) They want no more bloodshed from an avocado.

I really do miss taking pictures as often as I used to.

You know, Suzy, I have a friend who went through an accident walking a dog in May and she tore her shoulder - ended up with 2 surgeries (first one wasn't successful) but her attitude all along has been "I can't do anything" - so it's refreshing to hear you say "I can do 90% of things" -- I'll have to tell her about you! ;)
    Good to hear you're healing! Sweat is good! :D
    Oh and it's funny but when I'm out shopping, I'm always looking at the kitchen implements, wondering how avocados are supposed to be cut! You'll have to share your pitter & masher - and educate us! I haven't googled it, but I have had it on my to-do list. I always used a knife before, but really, it makes sense that a sharp knife might not be the way to go, considering it's like cutting butter....

  3. You are doing so good! I had to laugh at the no more bloodshed. Every time I see an avocado I think about what happened to you. Have a wonderful and fun weekend, Suzi, and stay away from those avocados.

  5. I'm super impressed you can do 90% of what you could before, way to go Suzi :) Glad you're doing well and getting your sweat on. Makes me realize it is all in the attitude, mine needs an adjustment :)*hugs*

  6. I remember when I couldn't use my right hand for a month, and it's amazing how your left hand can learn and how the brain and body adapt and you FIND ways to do stuff. Humans are cool in some ways, yes? :)

    I'm glad that your mood and exercise and mojo are ON! Now, keep telling the body to heal and keep on going...rock that splint!
