Meet George :)

I'm definitely more relaxed about my finger today! Even if I do have to sleep with this guy on :)

Meet George, isn't he adorable! At least I only have to wear him at night

I'm getting back into doing things normally again (like taking a shower :) so it's time I get back to normal with my workouts and my eating.

I'm going to sit down with a paper and pen and make myself some goals and how I want to achieve them.
Exercise will be increased once I can bend my hand for pushups etc and once I'm allowed to lift any kind of weights I'll start back with weight workouts.

Do you write down your goals and how you'll achieve them??

Do you write down your weekly menus?

How about exercise do you make certain days that you do specific workouts??

Do you join challenges?? Do they help to keep you motivated?

  1. Hello George. Pleased to meet you. Hope you enjoy your stay on Suzy's finger. But don't get TOO comfortable, you won't be there for long! :) Take care Suzy.

  2. If George helps, we'll consider him a temporary friend.

I do not write down goals but I always track my food.

  5. I like that you named him. I have a vision board on my bedroom wall that I'm taking with me when I move into my new place. I got the idea from when I read The Secret. Maybe I'll take a photo of it & post it on my blog later. Good to hear you're slowly getting back to normal!

  6. Hi George! He is much smaller than your cast :D

I do challenges for myself every month to keep me on my toes.

  7. I don't know - a couple of challenges worked for me.... the September No Treats worked for me.
Challenges where I leave something out - they work.
But challenges where I actually have to do something - or rise to meet an occasion - not so much for me!

I'm just glad you are healing nicely and on the mend!

  10. Glad to hear you're more positive about the finger! Go George!

I usually do my own challenges whenever I need some extra motivation to stay on track or get back on track. That works like wonders! :)

  11. I'm trying to be more vocal about my goals so that people keep me on track. I join challenges, but I don't have a great record with them. I get bored easily, or I get way too overwhelmed with the pressure, and I end up dropping out.

  13. Purple is my favorite color! George is awesome!

Challenges are OK for me, as long as they are short term. I tried a 7 month challenge and it was just too long, had too many things I was focusing on. I had to stop, it was making me a little crazy :-) Now I'm working on a short term goal that will end in October. This one is way more fun!

    Keep focused!
