Between being called into work, sleeping in until just before I needed to leave for work, therapy and my volunteering it has been pretty crazy.
First thing this morning was a shower, some oats with pumpkin butter and sugar free syrup. Then I ran to catch a bus.
Today was an annual picnic for the people I volunteer with and it was so much fun :)
I had a small veggie burger, a small packet of plain chips and some watermelon. All well within my points!
Hula hooping, egg races, water balloons and more! Due to my hand I didn't participate in the games but I definitely had fun watching.

Looks like you all had a nice time, what kind of volunteer work do you do Suzi ?
I volunteer for an agency that helps adults with mental health issues. I usually plan the social events, bingo, bowling, huge Christmas party etc.
I'm also on their board of directors so I'm kept pretty busy.
That is awesome Suzi ! Don't you just love it, it is so rewarding. I volunteer with seniors at the hospital.

Yes it is a wonderful feeling that you get when you volunteer. I've been doing it about 20 years :)
