Walk, eat and work :)


It's so beautiful and sunny out today that I just had to go out on a walk even though I hadn't planned on it!

Breakfast: My first bowl of coachs oats with pumpkin, raisins, walnuts and chia seeds :)

Lunch: Amy's alphabet soup, Mary's crackers, apple, peanut butter, cocoa, cocao nibs!

At work: protein drink, whole wheat cranberry blueberry muffin, mango

Calling all fellow challengers :)


So how much do you like planks now?? I actually felt like I was getting better at them by the end of the week!

Back to work again today!

Yes I work for the next 3 days! And what's my plan since I work in a coffee/donut shop?? Not to eat anything from work! So far I've gone 19 days with nothing from work and today will make 20 :)

Breakfast:
Tortilla with egg, laughing cow cheese, salsa, turkey bacon and a side of grapefruit

Lunch:
chili lime guiltless tortilla chips, cheese, banana, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries

At work:
Sushi, clementines and 20g almonds

Today's nosh :)


Breakfast:
pumpkin protein smoothie, whole wheat cranberry blueberry muffin

Lunch:
veggies, cheese, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries

Dinner:
Beef tenderloin, broccoli and cauliflower with cheese sauce, oven baked fries, olive oil, glass of wine, unpictured is the banana I had for dessert!
This is why I love Weight Watchers I can plan an awesome dinner like this and still be within my points!

I'm so glad I went on a walk!!

The wind died down, there was surprisingly no mud and here's why I'm so glad :)

A few things that work for me lately...


1. Only weighing in once a week! The one time I peaked a couple of days early my weight was up and I wanted to give up but by my weigh in day 2 days later I'd lost :)

2. Veggies and fruits! I love them. I will eat cherry tomatoes like candy

3. Movement of all sorts. Going out of my way to walk a few extra steps! Putting extra effort into my walking

4. For quite a while now I have not eaten after dinner and it works for me. Not for everyone but after dinner I know the kitchen is closed.

5. Organizing my kitchen so that I know what I have and where it is when I want it.

6. Lots and lots of water! Helps to keep me feeling full between meals.

7. Blogging I have my mojo back :)

8. Twitter going for my #30daychip has really helped me to stay strong and motivated.

9. Variety in food and exercise really helps to keep me happy.

10. Journaling everything I eat. I find this really helps me to plan my food and stay on my plan.

11. My weekly challenges :)

Back to work!

But first I had to go grocery shopping because the fridge is pretty bare!

Today's brekkie was some pumpkin french toast, sf syrup and some banana

Lunch was some green beans, laughing cow cheese,  tofu and 2 clementines

I took a protein drink, cranberry blueberry whole wheat muffin, and some veggies

After work I'm going to enjoy a glass of wine! Stayed within my weight watcher points :)

More cleaning!


Yes I have more cleaning to do today! Well it has to be done sometime :)

I also managed to go on an hours walk and do 2 planks!

Started my day with brekkie: 1/2c egg substitute, light cheese, 1 slice squirrelly bread, 1T mango butter, grapefruit

Lunch: Bbq'd chicken, veggies, strawberries, yogurt, LoveGrown cocoa goodness granola, coconut butter

Dinner: Stuffed pasta, broccoli, light alfredo sauce, light parmesan cheese, salad and dressing wasn't that hungry!

Snack: home made cranberry/blueberry whole wheat muffin I really want another one but i'm resisting so far!

Today....

This is one of my favourite spring photo`s!

I spent all of today cleaning :) and I'll probably do even more tomorrow.

Started today with a blueberry protein pancake with sf syrup

Lunch was a low carb pita pizza with spinach, onion and cheese with a green smoothie on the side. (1c almond breeze, banana, spinach and peanut flour for protein)

Dinner? BLT's with turkey bacon, squirrelly bread and some split pea soup

Last day of work for this week :)


Happy Easter everyone!

And I have to admit I'm ready to have a day off! After today I get two days off then I work a day then I get another day off :)

I started today with some oats, banana, cocoa granola, and peanut butter. Oh and I added an egg white at the end as usual. Gives me more protein and I stay a lot less hungry.

For lunch I had Mary's crackers! Low fat cheese and grapefruit. Someone asked about Mary's crackers, they're very crunch and made from seeds. They are wheat free and gluten free and have no added oils or fats.

I'm packing some chicken strips, salad and dressing and some yoghurt, granola and mango butter :)
