Healthy day??

What does a healthy day mean to you??

Weighing in?
Eating oats?
Low carbs?
Going for a run?
Drinking only water?
No fruit?
Juice?
Blogging?
Twitter??

This is how my day looked.

Waking up after at least 7 hours sleep.

After waking up I make a bee line towards my Keurig and pick out what kind of coffee I'm going to have.

While that's brewing I fill up my water bottle with 3 cups of water. I make a deal with myself I can have my coffee once I've drank my 3 cups of water :) This way the water goes down pretty quick!

Making a healthy breakfast whether it be eggs/oats or pancakes :) Today it's brownie batter pancakes with banana and sugar free syrup!

Catching up online with my fellow bloggers. Checking out my peeps on Twitter. 20 squats!!

Today I'm volunteering at a games afternoon for people with mental health issues. Lots of fun. Hubs came along as well.

I took some veggies, clementines, a protein drink and 3 of my home made molasses balls. I also drank lots of water there as well. If I hadn't done that I would've eaten some of this:

Got off of the bus home early so I could get some extra exercise in.  45 minutes

When I got home I started dinner. Drank more water while cooking low fat sausage with brussels sprouts in a butter sauce plus a few oven baked fries. I wanted something sweet after dinner so I grabbed a couple of clementines :)

Now I'm having a cup of green tea and chillaxing with the hubs :)I will go to sleep tonight knowing I did the best I could.  Am I perfect?  By no means but I do try to have more on plan/healthy days so that on days when my planning flies out the window they do not de-rail me.

What do you consider a healthy day?

What kind of day are you having??

My healthy day:

-Started off with a Kashi bar--dark chocolate with dried cherries
-Water
-A 45 minute workout
-Water and lunch, 2 slices wheat break with PB and a banana
-Water
-Snack greek yogurt with granola
-Water
-Nap
-Dinner, homemade chicken salad, spinach salad and sweet potato fries baked in the oven.

This ia healthy day to me! I'll probably have a couple of cuties for my dessert, too!

A healthy day for me means staying within my limits and getting in my water and exercise. It should also include supplements and I'm going to pick up what I need on Thursday.

Sounds like a great day! Im taking your water before coffee idea - thanks. Sometimes its noon before I get to the water because Im enjoying my third cup of coffee :) Today I ate pretty clean, nothing processed and stayed well within my points for the day. I made it to the gym and sweat like crazy through a spin class and then acted like a giant kid in the pool with my son.

Probably exercise, no pop, lots of water, fruits, veggies, grains, and balanced desserts

What a wonderful and healthy day :) I Think having water before your coffee is a fabulous idea! I also like the whole what do you consider a healthy day question as many people have different ideas. I would love to blog about this idea and possible link to your page. Please let me know if that is alright.
Thanks
Gi

I think the water before coffee is a grand idea. At our office we have a beeline for the Keurig at 8 on the dot :)

Your day sounds very very healthy to me.

For me a healthy day is reading all these beautiful blogs, spending time in the kitchen, a walk or jog, and moderated drinking.
