Food wise today was great! Already drank 9 cups of water. Didn't exercise because I worked till 10 last night and got up at 6:30 this morning to go back to work and honestly my body is exhausted today.
I think it's because it's been so crazy at work. With my arthritis I'm o.k as long as I do what I usually do, when I do more I pay for it with being really sore and aching all over! Well this week I've definitely been working harder than ever :( I don't take anti-inflammatories unless I really need them because they do a number on my kidney's but I definitely took one today). I've also gained some weight lately so that's a factor as well. I will have to get that off asap!!
I managed to get off of work a couple of hours early. I stopped at the grocery store to pick up some fresh fruit and veggies then I went home made a coffee and vegged!! In fact I'm still vegging.
I'm hoping to meet up with my walking group tomorrow but I'm going to wait and see how my body feels. If it needs more rest then so be it.
Today's nosh
Breakfast: 1/2c egg substitute omelet, 15g triple cheddar shredded cheese, 3 slices of pre-cooked bacon, 1 slice of sprouted bread and a tbsp of morello cherry jam. 2 Tbsp keir and 2 Tbsp 5% cream for coffee (I've been drinking decaf because of my high blood pressure)
At work (I actually came home and had this): muscle milk and a fibre one bar
Dinner: Taco casserole with pasta, glass of white wine
Add a little of this that I found today and OH MY it was delish!! I love that it's called good and evil :)

I'm glad you had some extra time off from work today. I hope you rested well. Your food looks tremendous as always. Pretty food always makes me hungry though.

I hear you about the arthritis. My knees have been KILLING me of late. I struggle though, because I know that rest is good...but I also know that the more quickly I get this weight back off, the better my knees will feel. It's a total catch 22.
