I have to say when I started this weeks challenge of drinking at least 8 cups of water a day I was having a hard time getting it in. I did it this week and it is getting easier every day.
Did you make a challenge? How did it go? Leave a comment and let us know.
This weeks challenge is going to be 45 minutes of exercise at least 4 times this week. I'm going to plan my exercise so I can make this happen.
Sunday (today) C25K: Done!
Monday: meet up with my walking group where I usually get well over an hours walking in
Tuesday: weight routine plus some walking
Wednesday: C25K
Thursday: weights
Friday and Saturday I'm working on my feet for 8 hours so I usually take these as rest days. But not always :)
If you want to follow the same challenge feel free :) Or if you have ideas for a future weekly challenge let me. I would love to hear your suggestions.
Since today is day 1 of the new challenge I completed Week 7 Day 1 of the C25K! Plus I got some extra walking in for a total of 55 minutes. One day down 3 more to go!
Today's nosh:
Breakfast: 2 apple pie protein muffins, yoghurt parfait with Iogo 0% yoghurt/berries/Kellog's low fat granola and 2 Tbsp 5% cream for coffee
Lunch: taco salad made with Gardein meatless crumbles, light cheddar cheese, and instead of sour cream it was 0% Greek yogurt mixed with a little low sodium taco seasoning
Dinner: Skinny chicken pot pie, raw veggies (I really liked this recipe but I found it a bit salty so next time I'd use less salt) I would also put it in a 350 oven as the top brown really fast before it was heated inside.
After dinner: wine :)
Exercise: 55 minutes brisk walk with speed walking intervals
Water: 8 cups

I'll join you on your challenge of 45 minutes for 4 days. My days are planned as Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 4.5 miles on the treadmill between bus runs and one day of .....well I don't know yet. A DVD, cross country skiing. I have to get in 27 miles in the next two weeks to finish up my Tri-Hallett (a triathlon, offered at my gym). I have completed 100 laps in the pool and 112 miles on the bike.
I'm not sure if I'll blog about this or not. I just don't have my heart into blogging right now. Some serious family issues and health problems so all my attention between everything else is there. But I know I need the exercise and having someone to be accountable to is wonderful.
Good luck this week. I know you'll do amazing. Blessings!!!
Food looks great! As usual! And so do you!
