Today's saying: Broccoli may get stuck in your teeth but french fries get stuck on your butt!
This week definitely started out bad.
I felt so tired and worn out that I really didn't want to do anything. Top that with bad eating and it was a recipe for disaster!! However, after a few off days, I realized that if I made sure to get my water in, ate in a way that gave me energy instead of taking it all and got some extra steps in I would feel a lot better. Guess what??? I feel so much better after just a couple of days of getting back to basics :)
I'm definitely not perfect and I definitely have a sweet tooth but I feel so much better when I'm back in control of my eating.
So far today I've planned menus, made a grocery list and got some walking in!
Ralph and I went to the mall today and I picked up these cute leftover valentines his and her coffee mugs :)
Last weeks challenge was to not touch the salt shaker. I totally aced this even when I wasn't eating the best.
This weeks challenge is to try 2 new recipes! I'm going to be making broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken breast and a spicy black beans.
