For this weeks challenge I wanted to try new recipes. The first one was spicy black beans that I made for lunch. It was great except the jalapeno pepper had the heat of a volcano!! I love spice but it made my eyes water. I think next time I'll try chipotle peppers in it.
The second recipe (yes I did them both in the same day) was broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken breast that was amazing. I will definitely be making both these recipes again.
I started today with meeting my daughter for coffee at a Starbucks. They even spelled my name right!
After coffee I walked through the park to get to my favourite store for keurig pods. Love their big selection of many different kinds.
Then it was time to meet up with my walking group. All together I walked for over 75 minutes today.
I also did some downward dog yoga for my flexibility today. Anyone have some favourite moves or exercises to help flexibility??

I made a new beef stew today. Not on purpose but tried something new. Turkey meatballs, red potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic and a light gravy. The meatballs were awesome. By the way, the no salt last week was to simple. Try a no sugar week soon, for me that will be a challenge.
It's snowing here, on it's way to 12" tonight/tomorrow. Got 10,000 steps down in-between bus runs with a friend. Plenty of slipping and slidding using my core muscle to stay standing. We have plans to walk again tomorrow, if there's school and I head to town.
Good luck and take care. Keep up the wonderful menu pictures. It is really helping me.
Blessings!!
Be careful on the ice my dear! :-)
Glad you are ok after the icy fall! And REALLY hope you get a good thaw soon!! Way to go on all that walking. And LOVE the little chicken and egg in the vase. Have a wonderful Tuesday Suzi!

I wish I could find single k cups around here! I did find a website where you could order like that though.
